Borras House is not simply a property — it is a statement of presence. Spanning 5,889 square feet and framed by its own sweeping driveway, the home blends the gravitas of its historic architecture with the understated polish of modern living. For our shoot, we wanted every frame to feel as considered as the building’s original craftsmanship.

We began with aerial work to establish the grandeur of the approach. The drone’s slow, measured ascents revealed not just the house’s commanding façade but also its secluded setting on the edge of the village. Early morning light filtered through mature trees, creating shifting patterns that we carried through into our ground-level compositions.

Inside, the challenge was scale. With reception rooms of such volume — from the stately drawing room to the 30-foot kitchen and living space — we leaned into wide architectural frames paired with smaller vignettes to retain intimacy. Rich textures, polished wood, and period detailing were given their own moments to breathe, using carefully controlled natural light and supplementary fill to maintain a warm, inviting tone across every scene.

The independent two-bedroom annexe was treated as its own story within the shoot, highlighting its autonomy while visually linking it back to the main residence. We kept the style consistent yet slightly lighter in grade to suggest flexibility — whether for guests, extended family, or private retreat.

From the elegance of the first-floor landing to the character of the second-floor suites, our edit wove together a journey through the property that mirrors how a prospective buyer might explore it in person. The result is a set of visuals crafted to elevate not just the listing, but the agent’s brand — positioning them as curators of exceptional homes.
